STAX OF DESIGNS For fall, David Yurman evolves his silver Stax designs and introduces
new pieces in the signature Thoroughbred collection.
Stacking and layering — the mixing and matching of multiple rings, bracelets, or necklaces — is a great way to experiment with different designs and change your look from day to day. What you create captures your personal style in that moment, ranging from classic to dazzling, casual to red-carpet glam. David Yurman, one of the most prominent and talented designers in America, uniquely interprets the stacking phenomenon in his Stax collection, which offers the appearance of several pieces of jewelry in singular creations. This year, he adds a dash of color and new sterling silver pieces to the line, giving you more options for distinct combinations.
Many of the designs feature colored gemstones selected for their clarity, exceptional quality, and uniqueness. These unusual gems, which include
Hampton blue topaz and prasiolite in a variety of cuts, put an additional twist on the collection’s motifs and help you create looks that are beautifully one-of-a-kind. Some of the new designs adopt David’s classic cable and link motifs in bangles that can be layered with cuffs and bracelets from other collections to build your own stack. Many of the new styles offer the look and movement of multiple strands in a single piece. In addition, there are matching gemstone drop earrings, beautifully accented with pavé diamonds, and a stunning drop pendant in the form of a classic Y-necklace — one of the hottest revival styles for 2019.
